The Red Leather CouleurSedona Upcycled from a French Tannery in Espelette
CouleurSedona chooses its leathers in France and some of them are coming from a famous tannery in Espelette France
Why have we choosen their Leathers? Because they are fashioned in the great French tradition since 1927 and respectful of the nature.
Respect for the environment is an integral part of our manufacturing process with a permanent concern for preservation based on transparency and compliance with the regulations in force. Located in a privileged environment, the Tannerie Carriat gives an important place to ecological concerns by acting on all available levers. In this perspective, the Tannery has equipped itself with complete pre-biological and physico-chemical treatment equipment which makes it possible to reduce in very significant proportions the flows generated by its industrial activity.
The Red color, symbol of the Espelette pepper, and my favorite color, the Pink color, with its soft and silky touch, gather all the characteristics for my CouleurSedona handcrafted leather goods.
The tannery is based in a remarkable site and respectful of environmental standards, that I had the privilege to visit.
